    Frontend Engineer at 104 (2018 – 2024): Taiwan's largest job platform. Worked in a small product team of around seven, owning the front end end-to-end across two consumer products and mentoring junior developers.

    • Rebuilt 104's 45+ mature-age job portal in Vue/Nuxt with server-side rendering — started the project from its first commit, and built both the employer-facing and the job-seeker-facing sites.
    • Built the Express BFF behind it: every API call routed through the app's own origin, the Authorization header assembled server-side, the backend API domain kept off the wire, and referer checks against off-site use.
    • Implemented the OIDC login flow (authorization code flow with id_token verification) with sessions stored in Redis.
    • Earlier, built the care-worker booking system in React — a Google Maps "carers near you" view with pin clustering, and an hourly availability scheduling UI.
    • Introduced the team's first automated testing on that React project — Jest for unit tests and Nightwatch.js for end-to-end; wrote the first suites, taught the team to write their own, and made passing tests a required step in the pull-request process.
    • Owned SEO fundamentals on the server-rendered pages — main author of the structured data (JSON-LD) markup, plus canonical tags and meta.

    • Developed full-stack e-commerce solutions using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.
